About Madeline Psychological support for life transitions, relationships, and meaningful change.
Life changes us. Relationships change us. Sometimes, in the middle of it all, we lose sight of where we stand. My sessions offer a space to reconnect with yourself, your relationships, and the life you are creating.
My approachA space where complexity does not need to be rushed.
In my work, I offer a space where complexity does not need to be rushed, simplified, or judged.
Together, we explore what is happening beneath the surface bringing clarity to patterns, emotions, and relational dynamics that may no longer be serving you. The work is reflective, but also practical: insight becomes most valuable when it creates movement.
My approach combines emotional depth with practical direction, helping you translate awareness into meaningful and sustainable change.
How I workUnderstanding patterns, strengthening relationships, and creating change.
I have always been fascinated by the ways people connect, the patterns we carry from our families, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and how our relationships work.
Whether I work with individuals, couples, or families, my goal is to help people develop a stronger sense of connection to themselves, to the people around them, and to the life they want to create.
Sessions are not only about talking through problems. They are about gaining clarity, understanding patterns, strengthening relationships, and creating real, sustainable change.
Personal perspectiveChange can be both enriching and disorienting.
Throughout my life, I have experienced what it means to adapt to different environments, cultures, and stages of life. These experiences taught me how deeply change can affect our sense of identity, belonging, and connection.
Transitions can be enriching, but they can also be disorienting. Whether we enter a new life stage, become parents, experience shifts in our relationships, move countries, or find ourselves questioning who we are becoming, these moments often invite us to redefine our relationship with ourselves and with others.
This is part of why I do this work: to create a space where people can feel recognised, supported, and able to make sense of what is changing.
Experience & trainingA psychology background with a relational and practical approach
After earning my degree in Psychology in Leiden, I began my career in marketing, working for several international companies in Amsterdam and Stockholm. Over time, I felt drawn back to my original passion: psychology.
I retrained with a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, also known as ACT, and mindfulness, integrating evidence-based approaches that help people build psychological flexibility.
In recent years, alongside offering individual psychological consultations, I have specialized in supporting couples and families as an Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy therapist and Mindful Parenting trainer.
